Junior Handling
One of the most important activities in the sport of dogs is in my opinion Jr. Showmanship. It's an activity that involves, trains and encourages young people who will hopefully remain in the dog show world as participants and contributors. Exhibitors, handlers, breeders and judges have come from the involvement and participation of Junior Showmanship. As a result it often produces the future leaders in the sport of dogs. Through this activity they learn how to show and care for a dog, how to win and loose gracefully, how to compete, work with and appreciate others in a healthy and constructive way while also learning to be responsible dog owners. While increasing there skills, they are also gaining self confidence, and learning how to perform and speak in front of others. They meet new friends and form lasting friendships.

Kaitlyn began Junior handling classes in the spring of 2007 and in a very short time she went from being shy and very quiet into a girl with confidence and a much more outgoing personality. Not only does she compete in Juniors but she also has begun showing some of our dogs as well as dogs for others in conformation.
